Well my first online poker night went without a hitch and saw some really awful hands being played but being paid off at the same time. Representing the forum was Egg and JaMeSz007 who both put in valiant efforts - Egg got taken out while sitting on a str8 (ouch!) and James, well it seems no matter what he had, he lost I'm sure he'll have better luck next time. It was great to see them join in and made for some fun. Only 8 players for the first turnout which was a good number to start(not too confusing) Bit of a laugh along the way and everyone enjoyed themselves I think. The idea (Eggs) of a weekly or even monthly event was bantered around and sounds like a good idea. Anyone who has an interest in poker should have a go next time. The eventual winner was a friend of a friend who had some good hands but mainly won with crap (and took me out also ) So it goes to show you don't have to be a great poker player to pick up the dosh. He picked up $80 for his efforts on an 8 man table. Will post up details of coming events and would be great to see some more members having a go. Regards John
