    Hi, no you don't need to dismantle the pods. It's possible that the fog lamp button is tinted yellow -the LEDs are definately white (no yellow ones available!) so it may be that the controls are coloured? Not sure regarding the demister light, have you checked polarity? Or tried swapping out a different LED?

    Hi Chad, with regard to the cluster type LEDs you should have received

    10 x 5 LED clusters (one set white one set red)
    2 x 6 LED clusters (for license plate lights)
    2 x 5 LED SMD clusters (driving lights)

    Hit me up via PM if what you have received is any different.

    Rob, with the fog lamps that could be the case but it still looks the same brightness as oem that is why i asked. As for the demister, i tried a different bulb and still no luck :( It doesnt light up at all :(

    OK -yeah there are no other bulbs in there so what you're seeing is 100% the LED.

    With the demister maybe you need to have ignition on or something?

    Ive tried everything and still no luck...hopefully its not something electrical because it used to work but then it just stopped and i thought it was a blown bulb. But after i replaced the bulb, still no luck :(

    Rob, for the climate control pod...what exactly are we trimming off the bulbs? and in which direction? thanks.

    Can you see the locating tab that is circled in the pic? You just need to trim the ends off that. Take a little bit (like 1mm) off each end first, and trim as needed so that it fits nicely in the circuit board.

    Best to just test the LED first to check it works - if it does work, obviously the problem is somewhere else

    I honestly don't think anyone has said this yet,
    But a huge thanks to Rob, installed everything on the weekend, guides worked fine, fiddly, but worth it, a great way to give the tired cluster a face lift.
    great communication, willing to go the extra little bit.

    Took the time to put some chrome rings in as well, make my car feel a million bucks again.

    Hi Rob,
    I was trying to finish off my led kit install, when i realised i might have gotten a wrong bulb. I had wanted my cigarette lighter ashtray light and holder light to be in red, but after installing everything, i seem to have a white bulb instead of red for the holder bulb. I cant upload a picture as im using my iphone and that is my only access to the net. If you can pm me your number i can send you a picture of the bulb i have. It looks evactly like the one in the picture in the install guide, but not red as in the picture. Thanks.
