You dont need a kit, just buy 2m of 8mm coolant hose and 8x hose clamps to suit.

can't you also just get 7mm EFI hose, utilising it for both the water lines and the fuel lines?
While youre at it, get your Intake Cam Cover Gaskets as well
and some gasket goo for exhaust covers
    ....... and EGR delete kit
    ..... and delete AIV's
    ..... replace 02 sensors
.... new Injector Connectors..... and coilpack connectors
..... might as well throw in a 100k service kit while its apart too

Costs a lil bit more, but in the grand scheme of things, the preventative maintenance will eliminate a LOT of potential dramas. Get another set of hands and you'll have it knocked over in a day. Plus, you're at Kangaroo Point, so off to the Storey Bridge and then the Valley to celebrate your success :)

I heard its better to use fuel grade hose for the water as it last longer and is less likely to breakdown under higher temperatures in zx engine bays? Is there any truth to this?

It is better to use the correct hose for the job, efi hose will do the job without a worry, but it is also about 4 times the price. I use Plurosil silicone hose if available.

Understood, but after the under-plenum cooling line deletes, dont you only require about 3m of hose all up for both your water and fuel line replacements? Essentially just replacing the cooling lines in and out of the turbos? Trimming up the passenger side Turbo line and delete the hardpipe behind the engine located around the EGR outlet to reduce amount of joins (possible failure points). Only mentioned EFI hose as I recalled reading in 1 of the Plenum Pull guides that it can be used. I dont know which is better or worse, only that if applicable, it eliminates having to purchase different types of hosing. Hence why I posed it as a question ;)
Personally went Silicon with mine throughout the engine bay, and was a royal PITA with all of the different sizes

Yeah, only about 3m required all up. Either hose will do the job quite well. The biggest difference is the cost.

I know it's overkill, but I used Hydraulic line for my coolant bypass on the Yellow Z, can handle stupid temps and pressures, but is hard to work with.
Hehe, I can even take photos, cause the plenum is currently off

wow hydraulic ones.. good for like 1000psi or so? haha.

well i replaced the blown hose yesterday. what a mission.. it was a hose that was attached to the left side (from the front) intake butterfly manifold, then went under the plenum to another steel pipe. only about 100mm long, but i had to remove the butterfly manifold thing and the coil pack to do it. serious pain in the ass when you dont have good tools! Also, wtf does that pipe even do? it seems to me like its completely pointless, unless its there to warm the manifold, which i dont need anyway, can i bypass this stuff when i do a plenum pull??

it seems i still have a slight leak somewhere, cant tell where, but i guess i have to get organised for this plenum pull very quickly. what parts can i only replace while the plenum is off, that is neccessary?
