Yeah, at at the end spend 1k or more trying to fix it and it still exists is what scares me :(

Yeah, but if you've got a leak, it needs to be fixed regardless. And sooner the better.

Yeah im not sitting back, just saying i need to collect more parts to make a plenum pull even more worth the time and effort, I need to do the valve covers too, so i'm waiting on those sort of bits. Pinging doesn't happen all the time, unless of coarse that continuous sound at top gear cruising is pinging, but i doubt it

What engine speed are you cruising at?

If under 3000(?)rpm, the O2 sensor feedback should compensate for the extra air (assuming your O2 sensor is good).

    If over 3000(?)rpm, it won't.

And if it is pinging, the more you drive it the more you slowly kill your engine.

Personally, if you have a known leak, I'd be getting that fixed asap and worry about the rest later.

James, Your CAS is in WAY the wrong spot. The right spot in a stock car is about 2/3 rds of the slot IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.

I didn't get the noise this morning! How bloody annoying, so now it's a "not every drive" noise lol not this weekend but the next will be a plenum pull weekend
