Pics of my Z with new wing - love it or hate it?

Certainly doesn't looked 'slapped on' in person, anyone who knows Niall understands the lengths he goes to in getting things just right.

Now I know Niall wouldn't have put this wing on his own Z - but he still dedicated a lot of time and effort to get it just the way I wanted, and it's much appreciated.

People's negative opinions of the wing don't bother me too much, I knew it wouldn't be everyone's style, but I would be bloody annoyed if people saw comments in this thread and thought Niall does shoddy work.

 

This forum really is getting worse for any mod that doesn't meet current forum fashions. Some of the comments are way over the top.

 

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if we agreed on everything there would be no point in having a forum.

2 spoilers are not to my taste either, im very fussy about spoilers, i dont like brazillian 2+2's for example which a large number of people have here, i think the rear end looks too fat from the sids and rear. 2 seaters pull it off better.

I cant think of any other spoiler i would have rather than my abflug spoiler on my blue zed. but ive had people before saying they hate it and it looks stupid, that i cant understand.



My silver zed has this type of beaver tail spoiler which looks quite good in my mind, or i had thought of a modified stock spoiler based off one of Al's reproduction spoilers, modify to somewhere in between stock and what Cam has, that would be nice i think.




For me the key with a 2+2 is to balance out how far the bumper sticks outm thats what my abflug spoiler does, and althougha 2+2 you can see of the side view of the Legal eagle

I dont have agood side on pic of the blue zed but the spoiler sweeps back and out almost hte same amount the bumper sticks out.

Trav didn't say that at all. No one is taking away from the effort that was ACTUALLY involved. What he is trying to say is that the final product, just doesn't do the effort justice.... at all.
It does the opposite, instead of you taking off the stock spoiler and replacing it with a new one, it LOOKS as if this new one was just plonked on top of the old one. Regardless of how you actually DID do it, it doesn't appear that way. Thats all.

Don't be offended, we ALL know how much has been put in to it, and well done... but.... yeah, it doesn't change the fact that most people think it looks bad. Our opinions, YES, but thats what we were asked for, remember?

I got no problems with the opinions, i have said before that it is not to my taste either, but i wanted to make it clear that it was not "plonked" on, and was not out of laziness or lack of understanding. Kris chose to have 2 spoilers after seeing the pic of the black zed. Thats the point i was making. I am not offended, not by a long shot.

Opinions were asked for and given. Some could have been a bit more euphemistic though shall we say

 

This is the one I originally wanted for a long time and Pete was the only one I knew who had it but wouldn't give it up unless I bought the whole car!

But I have to say the D Speed is growing on me.
