summary Maybe this should have been in the garage section but anyway ? presented for your Zcrutiny, after 11 years of ownership, this car still excites me. now 22 years old and still drives as tight as the day I got it. I have tried to retain black and white, using cleared or smoked lenses with LEDs, HIDs all round and spoiler removal and added colour coded Mudflaps. Angles in some of the photos are in my opinion some of the highpoints of the styling, some prefer in Black, Gun -grey or Red, but its all - same joy/Different bottle. Coolum (sorry can't get the pics to embed) Fixed
Awesomely clean zed mate. Great to see complete and tidy zeds amongst the group still. Question though... Whats with the mirkin on the gauge hood? lol.
Merkin for anti glare. I feel it looks better than a dash mat which always looks like you're hiding 'crapness'. Needs new merkin - old one getting sunbleached in QLD summer. Unscrew Pod, Flip Black felt (or replace) for anti glare Midsummer driving in Sunny QLD. Gives a great non reflective Window view. necessity is the mother of invention. Nice spotting though! And a big thanks who allowed the pics to show as embedded. And Thanks for your comments all TY
Fair point, i really hadnt thought about the glare factor. Suppose i dont get that issue. Or at least not apparent to me when driving. A nice suede would look pretty neat. But regardless, the whole package and presentation is excellent. You've a very good Z32 there. :zlove: And the pics was me. You were nearly right with imbedding them. You needed to make them show up.
Put it away for 15 years as it is, It will be worth saving in it's original condition, especially under hood. The interior has been renewed & it looks well done. I would like to do same with mine & others, keep original as possible. PS: pearl white, great colour with black interior. Love it!!!! :br:
The only 2 items I have replaced inside are: 1.) The steering Wheel (just the outer) - bought of adelaide Z in great condition the original was nearly perfect apart from one worn area (Ring finger). 2.) Bought seat covers and seats off forum members and fitted (just a preference). I have the original tweed seats in storage in nearly perfect nick, just a little wear from first owner on bolster. The rest is the original interior, but I need to replace the trim on the left top removable roof which has 'rippled'. And I have already bought and stored, a spare 'Nissan' branded Radio CD player (untested though, so I hope it works) in case this one dies so I can keep it EOM as possible.
You got it - Coolum near the MX track you can see the ' not so -grand stand' in the bkgrnd of one shot.
Very nice, needs the original rims back though :\ Leather, cruise control on a jap-spec, some pretty uncommon features Shame it's an auto. Don't put it away, it's not worth it.
leather is extremely common on j-spec. Personally didnt know it was ever available as an option for aus-spec Also never come across an auto that didnt have cruise. Damn nice car, shame its time to sell
I see, I see. The plot thickens. I didn't mean to imply that leather is rare on Japspecs, just that it was rare in general. Most of the cars I've seen didn't have leather, but then, most of them have been Aus spec too As for cruise control...I wouldn't be caught dead in an auto. The Japs I've seen haven't had cruise control, but they've all been manual too. I guess you're right, it just so happens that the cars I've been checkin' out don't typically have those particular options.
