PARTING OUT MY Z :'(

I need an answer, do you guys reckon i can get more money selling parts from my car than selling it whole?
you can go and take a look at my car it on the forum. all parts on this car a still very good, beside the radiator.
tires a brand new (avs)
new re-trim on seats (black with white in the middle)
custom sub box (2 12inch)
target roof perfect condition no water damage (there is no cover)
rear tail lights still fairly new (altezza)
jasma 2 an a half inch straight to turbo
more to list.
please i need a good answer.

your asking $6500 , good price imo ...
parting it out I don't know what you'll get , would depend a lot on what condition of the main selling points are , engine , gearbox etc ...

sell it as a whole, so during the time you still can drive it.
if you bring it to SA, you can sell it pretty quick i reckon, as there are not many TT here

I too think you should sell it as a whole , your asking price is quite reasonable , even with the few things you mentioned it needs done .
Not sure if you have it advertised elsewhere , but that would definitely help in the sale

hey bud, give you a little advice: it's your car, its your money, do it yourself on sale, dont trust anyone who say will help! Spend $50 putting it on carsales! or even ebay!

 

That might be your problem... get him to put it up elsewhere, carsales, ebay etc, etc. Theres a much larger market out there than just this forum...

 

I will admit mate, I was tempted. My problem is I don't have enough car bays at home. If it was a stupid price (not saying you should go there), then I would probably find the room for it.

 

The car will sit at your place for 5 years if you part it out bit by bit, because once all the good parts are gone (motor/gearbox/diff etc) then it'll just be scrap metal.

As I said for 5 grand it is an awesome buy. I would purchase it myself if I was in WA and could view the car in person first.

It has all of the interior work already done (for someone wanting a white Zed) and the only outer cosmetic problem is the rear wing and tail lights.

God damn I wish I lived in WA . . .

(not really cos I love Victoria, ya see with other places you may be expecting something else and get disapointed because everywhere is actually the same. Whereas everyone KNOWS Victoria is crap so you cannot be disapointed. It holds no illusions)
