Pulled the radio head out today to do a job and reassembled everything. Really only tidied up the wiring. Put the key in to check radio working and all is good. However when I removed the key I noticed the park lights were on. I checked that all switches were off, incl turbo timer but lights remain on. Swapped over the relay but problem remains. Have to disconnect battery to turn off lights.
You don't seem to be having much luck with this Z. At a guess I would say you've crossed one of the wires used to provide a signal to dim the clock/radio etc. with a 12v or possibly an earth. Hopefully its that simple.
Sorry Guys not the switch. Removed Stereo and checked/soldered wiring, found the Turbo Timer wiring was giving feed back to the electrical system. Cleaned up the birds nest of wiring and now we have no problems.
