    Hi Guys

I started my car up this mornin and for some reason started idling a bit higher than normal. I let the car warm up and took it for a drive and the idle was sitting around 1800rpm. I then I shut the car off and started it up again and seems to have fixed itself.

    any ideas?

Bound to be the ecu just doing its thing, my car does this sometimes till warmed up. Another thing is if the car was already hot it will do this to get the fan running faster and push more fluid through the cooling system.

    I guess something was stuck

    Thanks Gazza

I've had those funny ecu issues before, genereally after doing some work on the car. This time was different as I let it warm up and even drove it up the M2 and the idle still stayed on 1800. It only went back to normal after I shut the engine off then back on again.

    CTS connector may need cleaning

    Also clean AAC connector.
