Yep, I feel they are crisper , not jerky though. My transmission is a little tired as you can imagine so the ALC hasnt got the best platform to work with...but I feel it was a contributing factor to the iprovement. So thankyou Lysergic
Congrats Caz! I can imagine how happy you would have been when first reading the timeslip! Annoyed I didnt get a phone call though!!!
I knew before I got the slip, Asher was jumping around like mad thing in the return lane yelling you did it!!
I haven't had it dyno'd since the IC's went on, before the IC's were fitted she was 190rw/kw without the PDA tweaking fuel and timing and 208 with. That would easy be a year ago...quite a few more k's on her now I didnt have the PDA running at the drags.... I let it go too flat and it lost the program, I need to reinstall it Caz..
Its not just the tyres being sticky, its them being Drag tyres that makes the difference. Quite a few of us have run on our very sticky track tyres and there is no comparison to Mickey Thompsons, the design of a Drag tyre is very different. The larger sidewalls are quite thin at certain points. And you only run 13-14 psi in them. I have no doubt my diff and trans HATE them! They are like a big fat rubber band slingshot for your car LOL
Yep, they are awesome tyres! I pulled a 1.6 60ft on mine and damn does that feel like a hard launch compared to the 2.0 that I was pulling on street tyres! I was running 20psi in mine so I will drop them down next time out.
