oil squirters

    ive been told that with running larger pistons i should use the NA squirters coz they slightly larger... any thoughts?

    No they aren't larger that I know of, they point at a different part of the piston compared to the TT squirters.

    I picked some up to use for my build, but many reputable members here told me that they are not necessary. I'm going to use them cos the price was right, but I wouldn't have had any probs using the tt ones either.

    As Chrispy said, all they do is point to a different part of the underside of the piston. Apparently the TT pistons have a channel that the oil squirts into and I assume it then spread the oil over the underside. So if your using aftermarket pistons the channel isn't there. Having said that, oil is going to get spashed around quite heavily regardless.

    No need for them if using aftermarket pistons, chrispy and ascension are both correct in thier answers.
