HI Guys Just noticed on my bottom end rebuilt that the engine shop did not install the oil squirter gaskets between the oil squirter and the block. What is going to be the result???
A Does not matter. ( I doubt it).
B Some loss of oil pressure in system due to leak??
C Oil squirter does not work as well. D.
    B and C together. (still not good:eek:)

Open to all advice as I have a full gasket set and the gaskets. It will be a pain to install with out taking the crank and rods out but I think I can do it;).

And the tech heads that are always of great help rolling etc no my eye sight is not that good but if you have a 60 degree bore scope it makes it is a lot easier:rofl:

    Thanks for the help Mark.
P.S I will soon have a rebuilt thread as well soon. Cheers mark.

Talk to the engine shop. Did you pay them for the work they did?

Ideally you should have them, but i dont think it will make much difference. non rebuilt motors the gaskets are as hard as plastic cracked and disintergrated so no i wouldnt worry about it.

Its worth taking it up with the guys who built it though, if they can pull the crank etc for free then have them do it

i would bring it to their attention. if they feel its needed, they should fit them.

its their issue if it dies in the ass because of it.
