Full synthetic 10W30 or higher ....>> I'm using Valvoline Synpower 10W50 thanks to RedZedMikey's Valvoline Group Buy Oils have been discussed a lot on this forum, so try searching if you want to know more.
Mobil 1 for me.. 15w-50.. Mobil 1 15W-50 - Race Proven Performance Designed for turbo and supercharged engines particularly at high-speed under highway, towing and other severe service conditions. Higher viscosity is ideal for use in older engines. is the blurb, Mobil 1
gavin woods,a zed specialist on the gold coast, recommends the "conoco" brand (gold) for zeds ....:thumbsup:
I don't know what the "best" oil is >>> but I use Valvoline Synpower (full synthetic) 10W/50, mainly because I can it for a very good price . They also do a 5w/40 and a 0/W30 in full synthetic. In the past my Z has been lubricated by Castrol, Pennzoil, Shell, and Mobil (all full synthetic) depending on whatever deal I could get at the time. I've never had issues with any of them.
Elf Oil deal I could potentially get a group buy of Elf oil at roughly wholesale prices. Generally prices would be 10-40% off. Do you think anyone would be interested?
is elf good? if so, then yes... considering that we all want to regularly change our oil, and if we can have it cheap, then we'll change it probably more often people would probably buy a surplus and just keep it in the garage
Would be a good option for SA zedders ...>> frieght costs would probably make it an average option for the rest of us.
