Oh God, What have I gotten myself into now??!

Well, I did it, lol

I bought another Zed today, An Ausspec 92 Model NA, 5 speed manual with a broken timing belt for $900.

At first I was buying it for parts for the TT, but seeing it in person it seems to be in a bit better condition than I thought,so im thinking of maybe fixing it and getting it registered as a car to drive to work in.

It only ran out of rego in March this year.

Are decent condition NA motors easy to find?

Or what are the chances of putting a belt on it and it being ok...????

 

You son of a bitch! I was going to buy that thing to part out! After seeing it relisted five or so times I called the seller only to be told somebody JUST bought it...

LOL, I was the only bidder on ebay, it was so lonely on there, i had to bid on it, I couldnt actually believe noone else bidded,

By the looks of the sellers photos the interior looks to be in shit condition, but in person its actually a lot better than it seems,

It has no Hicas,,?? Do NA's come with HICAS? or has it been ripped out?

The body is pretty fair apart from some minor paint chipped and scrapes on front driver guard,

I gotta go buy some batteries for my camera now, they always run out at the most inconvenient times.. lol

I will put photos up in an hour or two.

 

All NA's are HICAS free. The door cars were completely shot, I was going to put them in my car for a retrim.

 

I got a spare set of door cards if your interested...

Im never gunna find one in good nick either if everyone else is looking for them also... damn..

 

Aus spec? I.e, seat belts on the body

 

Yep, as far as I know, they have yellow trimmings, I got them off pennyarvs when i first got the TT, but never ended up using them.

Ive think ive only got one of them trims in extremely bad condition, if Its there you can have it free too,

Ive actually got got almost a complete yellow vinyl interior, minus the front seats and a few small interior parts, but most of its all there, the dash, the rear seats, the roof lining bits etc....

If you wanted the lot i would ask $100.
