You know what I reckon to be the perfect shot for you, Procky?

A night shot using a tripod with slow shutter speed. Put a bit of light in the car to show off the interior then spread those wings apart. Your doors, the interior and the chrome black paint are her strengths...

Initial reaction is to just refer to this thread's post #2 for the photos then cast the vote.

 

One of the hardest things i've done today

is to rate these magnificent beasts, so i choose by overall picture appeal not by weather i liked this or that about about each vehicle.

For those who took part in the first calendar, it got VERY messy having 4 photos per car. I ended up making quite a large PDF document and had to send it to everyone who wanted to vote. Not only did it take a while to put together, it also made it a much slower process to vote.

In the case of this years calendar that would mean having 136 photo's to look through in one post...then you add on top of that the fact that people will of course like one photo more than others in a set, so when it comes to selecting the main photo there will no doubt be people who will not agree which one makes it. You can't please everyone.

This format makes it simpler to sort through your favourite cars, and faster to download.

The calendar's submissions have been going on for months, so there has been plenty of time for people to see photos along the way.

The photos I put in the selection are meant to be a good possible combination for the calendar. Interpretation is always going to be different.
I don't just slap together these calendar's, there is a lot more to it.

 

So did you select what you thought was the best photo of the set or just the first ?

IF YOU selected what you thought was the best then I dont have an issue. But if it was just the first photo then it seems a bit dumb.

Having said that, I dont really care all that much.

 

In my case, the third photo was chosen so I think Andrew picked what he thought was the cream of the crop.
