    Hi Guys

New OEM headbolts is there a certain limit of power/boost before they give way. I know of RB motors and 2JZ's running bigger turbos 20+psi of boost around the 350rwkw zone where they have stretched the head bolts and lifted the head (only talking a few thou here).

I know plently of people have made 300-320ish with their zed's on an un-opended strong motor.

I have new OEM headbolts and having a forged bottom end built - max power I will ever want would be the 320-350rwkw, could I keep my new OEM headbolts or should I just go the ARP headstuds.

Also what about the crank girdle bolts - ARP aswell?

    Thanks Matt.

On CZP, it says the earlier style ARP headbolt kit they sold was insufficient at 525hp, so I think its safe to assume that the OEM headbolts would be less or equal to that figure.

    Assumption only!

    you can run 9's

personally i like the new ARP's but I have spray which kind of makes a little bit more bang so want a bit of insurance.

Yep, I'll buy new girdle studs and keep my new OEM head bolts.
