Odd Steering issue

After turning a hard/long left or right turn the steering wheel does not return to centre. Instead it sits at about 20-30 degrees to the direction I turned whilst the car is going straight :confused:

I know there is an alignment issue as the car has some vibration and also tracks slightly left, but what could cause this problem?

    Cheers

    That's probably it...

And is there much slack in the steering?

Worn steering shaft and rack bushing?

    Could the rack be moving?

It is possible that the bushings are worn. Will take her in for an alignment tomorrow worst case and if that doesn't sort it out I will take it in to get the bushings checked and replaced if neccessary.

I had the same issue and an alignment fixed it up no worries!
