Hi All been working on the zed for the last 12 months be back on the road soon pluged in data scan yesterday noticed big difference in the o2 sensors left not moving much right hand reads higher and all over the place. at idle left reads 45. right reads 83 when engine is revved they tend to balance out they both swing down to left 24 right 21. do ihave a o2 sensor about to die. i can email the data log if any one is interested in having a look. just want to get rid of all the bugs before i hit the road again. as i have replaced preety much everything else. steve
They should read all over the place when working properly and the throttle is prodded. If not they are dying/dead.
ok that said will buy two replace both they look like a bit of a bugger to get to is it eaiser from top or below??
is there a trick or special tool required to remove the sencors not a lot of room on the drivers side or is there a link that shows how to get them out??
There's info in the tech section I believe and pleanty of threads. A search should bring up the how to's for ya. I know the info is in here somewhere because I looked it up and had a thread on it when mine needed doing. however I wimped out and got Tom (PZP) to do mine
..... first step is concentrated soaking of the base with INOX over several days ... will make the actual removal heaps easier .....
thanx here we go then will do my 100,000 service while im at it then had the parts sitting on the shelf for about 18 months now time to pull the finger out.
