Not sure a 100k service is a job for a carpark.... they can throw some curve balls with stubborn sprockets or extra work needing to be done that you dont find till its apart.
Much better to have your car somewhere where you can secure it out of the weather if you can't get it finished in 1 day.

Really? Interesting information I should take into account. Obviously I wouldn't want to be hogging they day for myself hehe. If others feel the same way then by all means I'll take it to my local zed specialist I'll still rock up though if there's enough interest!

At this stage I'm suggesting the 15th (altho' that's the day after Oni's fabulous not-to-be-missed Christmas Party on Friday the 14th), or the following week, Saturday, the 22nd...??? Leaves a bit of time before Chrissie running around, and enough time to prepare for the Tech Day. (Sorry, Caz, but the 8th is a bit soon for us... Can you make either of the other suggestions?). Preferences everyone...???

 

I know, I know... I'm getting old and forgetful!! But, just had a thought... I normally buy excellent rump steak (plus other meats) at the Parklea Markets and was thinking that if people wanted a top piece of meat for the barbie, I could buy extra (I think it's $8.99kg, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than Woolies or Coles) and cut it into kilo-size pieces (or whatever) for those who don't want to bring their own. Obviously, this would require advance warning as to how many people you were bringing. I like it because it is fresh and does NOT come pumped up with water as can happen at many butcher shops, so you get value for your money. No interest, no problem...!!

Executive decision - Tech Day/BBQ will be held on Saturday, November 15th!!
Address is: Rear of Emerald Press building, Unit 13, 4 Anella Ave, Castle Hill... from about 9am.
Barbecue facilities provided, bring your own food and chairs.
A remote-powered car track (sort-of) will be available (for adults AND kids!).
Tech work needed should be advised ASAP.
(Any Tech Gurus unable to make the 15th, please advise and we might have to switch to the 22nd).
Tree branches available to fall on Skylines attending.
(Some) drinks available (buck a can!), as well as tea and coffee.
Any complaints, tell it to someone who cares...!!!
