Calling all Z owners in the central west 300Klm radius of Dubbo. (or greater)
Is anyone interested in getting together for a cruise or BBQ.
Do you know anyone in the central west who has a 300zx or even the newer ones (350s or 370s)
Drop a line here to show intrest.
The city guys seem to have all the fun, why not us as well.

I was in Coona the other day, and seen a Silver 300 with a red hatch... - Any chance its urs? - it was in dubbo the following day or so...

I only know of one that is going, Mark Picker, who is a member, but doesn't follow as much anymore... I have his mobile number if we were to organise anything... There are another couple of people, but their's are off the road at the moment, and there is a hot pink with love heart tips going around too, but along with the other 10 in town, I have no idea who they are...

What were ur suggestions?

 

The car you saw in Coona belongs to Alan Norton who has the local eagle boy pizza here in coona. He is due to get a full vinyl wrap (eagle boys pink) in the next few months

My car is black with flames up the side and a prowling tiger on the bonnet.
I have photos in my garage under the nickname gmbrezzo.

I was thinking of getting an email list together so we can contact everyone when we are considering an event.

Suggestion: get together in Dubbo for BBQ or kids toy run (Hospital) for Chrismas.
Cruise to Wellington, Parkes, Coonbarabran or whereever.
Mini show'n'shine to introduce others to 300's
I'm open to any ideas.

I saw that pink car on monday in maquarie street. My car should be rego'd on wednesday, but im working weekends now. I've seen a couple other Z's around too, no idea who owns them though :/

Off topic but, has anyone seen the new KFC managers cars? A TRD supra and a black S15 spec r... Nice

 

I saw a red TT 300 in Nyngan when I was there last week.
Out of rego and for sale.
Needs a lot of TLC to bring back to life.

I will go on a trip with you guys / Just work ot a time and date and I will work somthing out.

 

That red TT appeared a couple of months ago, apparently it was the current owners mothers car and isn't running. Nice colour, body looks straight from the distances I've seen it at. Better rims than mine too.

I know of another mostly stock slicktop TT outside dubbo that's in bits atm. Everything is there, the current owners aren't sure whether the want to sell it all, rebuild it or part it out.

Theres a 240Z (I think) in west dubbo who's in the body rust removal stage of restoration, he might be interested in coming down for a look. I'll have a chat to him next time I see him.

Edit: Dave, any chance I saw your car parked out the front of Macca's early last week? Might have been sunday night?..

 

Yep I had a closer look at it in Nyngan.

Needs fibreglass work in the font bar and a damn good cut/polish

Tourist info centre is a good idea, I was thinking off the soccer grounds under the east end of the bridge. Shouldnt be too many people around that area.

Hmmm mine's getting blue slipped and rego'd this week :S

Seeing as I've got the locals in here, wheres the best place to get an exhaust done in Dubbo? Full 2.5" s/s, I was considering getting new extractors delivered or made up, new cats and varex mufflers.

I only suggested tourist Info Centre as everyone can find that, plus good size car park.
I was thinking, drive round find a public BBQ, We all chip in and make it a BBQ lunch, our own small x-mas party (bummer - no alcohol as we are driving), Photo ops at Zoo, wander home ??

 

The guy from Mr HDT suggested a place in Dubbo but I was not in need of an upgrade so didnot remember the business name. He was all "I've banned all 300zx's from my place as too hard to work on". When he saw mine at the Dubbo car show he's all friendly now. even convinced me to do a Dyno run at the show. I am sure he would tell me the place he uses to do race motor exhausts.

We are frequent visitors to Dubbo, there almost every fortnight.
Meeting up would be great, but the 18th is out for us.
Maybe we can catch up some other time.
