    Hard to put on yourself?
Havent tried, the cars in the shop having work done but the longer its there the more money comes out of my pocket. Waiting on Radiator hoses to come in just wondering if i can put them in myself without hassels or is it best to have it done professionally...

Haha, yep, everything takes longer and / or you run into additional problems!

Anyway the rad hoses are easy, may be just a bit annoying because you have to bend it into place (top rad hose), but other than that, easy job.

NA or TT?.. cause scott has a NA from memory :)
like me.. i didnt have to do any bending on mine. they are relativly an easy job compared to other things that you may do urself (spark plugs, 02's etc)

Best to do it urself anyway or ull prob get charged $100 for fitting new radiator hoses! LOL

Well both really.. NA is a bit easier, because the top hose is already an L shape. Whereas the TT top hose is sort of straight.. Not saying it's hard or anything on either (I have both an NA and TT in my driveway).

Fitting the hoses is the easy part. Bleeding the cooling system of air pockets on the other hand can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

So i'm going to get the bottom rad hose from redzedmikey, do the TT and NA differ at all?

Also would u guys suggest replaceing the top rad hose also?

    Cheers.

I think the NA and TT bottom hose are the same. Don't know if it's the same actual part, but they look the same.

What kind of nick is your top hose in? If it looks ok and you're getting a second hand one, I personally wouldn't bother. If you're getting a brand new one then, yeah, why not, extra insurance.

I've replaced my top hose recently but that's only because the idiot previous owner had the NA top hose on my TT!

Top one looked fine to me, its at the shop so i cant test for leaks but there were none when i dropped it off so i assume its fine.

I'm having the one from mikey aired down (lol im an impatient man) Thankya Mikey!

So just to be safe, and because the one i'm gettin from mike is alloy and sex... should be fine.

my radiator hoses are from ebay, brand new silicone hoses, $60 delivered...cant complain :p
they suppose for tt, but fit my NA too.

it is an easy job scotty, drain the coolant, disconnect, reconnect~ bling~ok
just be careful when you take off the bottom hose, there may still have alot coolant.
