I hardly drive my car anymore and most of the time it sits in the backyard on slope. When I start it, it does tapping noises pretty badly and it will be there for ages even after taking it for a long drive. It eventually goes away though. I have noticed if I park my car on level ground and start the car even after a month, it has no tapping sound at all.

What would be the best oil to use to stop this from happening? I wouldn't park it on a slope, but sometimes I have no choice.

The oil in the lifters drains out when you are on the hill. It doesnt when its flat. Oil isnt going to matter
