Happy new year to all. i have a noise coming from my diff when i start to reverse,sounds as if clutch or some thing slipping but usually only happens when im turning not when reversing straight unless uphill????????? thought maybe wheel bearing but wheel would be lucky to turn 1/8 of a rev and noise sounds as if it starts befor the wheel turns.Sounds bizaar i know but???? Any one else had simular problem? if so i could use your advise cheers
REoes it happen all the time? hi man,only seems to happen when i first start to reverse or when i labour the car when using the clutch when reversing.
If it happens only.... ....when you first start the car and reverse... it could be the HICAS or is it the ABS? Folks have previously commented of a funny noise when you reverse straight after starting. ABS activating or the HICAS, I forget which. Could this be your noise?
