Was In the process of changing my handbrake cover, (to discover it didn't fit -__-) and after my interior was back together, my head unit will light up but nothing more. Interior lights no longer come on. Head light warning beep no longer happens. The 'doors open light on the dash remains on when car is running??? Oh and my clock no longer works :(. Everyone ive asked keeps saying it's an earthily problem or I didn't connect something properly. I have tried on 3 different occasions to find the problem and I can't find anything wrong? I even tried replacing my fuses? Still no change?

I seem to remember something about an earthing point under the handbrake cover? It is earthed that I'm sure of. Which means everyone is correct. :p

Me, too but I seem to recall it was the earth side of the cigarette lighter.

Pardon the obvious question, but when you changed your fuses, did you examine the ones you took out very carefully to make certain they weren't blown?

Another obvious question, when you reassembled the console, did you reconnect the plug for the clock? It is easy to miss - don't ask me how I know.
