this one really snuck up and was done on the quiet wasnt it.
I have been using the high country for liesure for a long time riding trail bikes, walking and 4wd'ing and I've never seen any signs of damage that were worse than excavated ski slopes or the damage done by the wanker fraternity of 4wd'ers and trail riders.
I have seen areas where cattle grazing was restrictced turn into overgrown grass area's that were a bushfire waiting to happen and were unusable to campers.
I have never seen a comprehensive study into the effects of high counrty grazing and am saddened to see the loss off a part of the Australian phsyche because one group of activists have a louder voice than another. If the area was to be closed to all then I would have no problem but itn isnt.
This romantic part of our history has been snuffed out by "Hymie" and the greenie fraternity and it just sucks is all I'm saying

    Dont care, bugger em....

.... the black fella's had way more history up there that was snuffed out by the cattlemen, so its only karma coming back at them. Plus the fact that they see anything that competes with the cattle as vermin (kangaroos, wombats, dingo's, tree's)
