Hey Guys I recently installed a Profec E01 and replaced all the vac lines on my zed along with a few other bits and pieces. When i first got it back up and running without really setting up the boost controller too much i was getting 5-10psi boost but seemed a little lagy. I left it at that while i ran it for a bit just to make sure everything else was ok. The other night i took it out and stretched its legs up the hwy and it didn't boost over about 10psi all the way through to redline. It sounded like the drivers side turbo was really working or i had a major boost leak. I took it out again the other day and it now wont boost.... 0 psi. Cant even hear the turbo's spooling. Steve (ZDUCTIV) and myself have checked all the vac lines and pipes and nothing seems out of place or loose. We've checked the EBC and its set for 15psi. We're thinking either the exhaust is blocked or maybe a blown turbo. even with a major boost leak i still should be able to hit a couple psi! I'll pull off the exhaust and dump pipes and check out the turbos. Anyone have any suggestions what else it could be? Cheers, Brendan
Na im not running cats. My muffler could have collapsed though... I hope not because i have a full Trust exhaust system. Remember that post Dub put up about the same problem? Anyone find out what he did to fix it? I'd ask him but haven't seen him on in ages.
I'll come over and recheck the vac line install during the day sometime when I've finished exams, but even with those ass about it should be boosting. If it had of not boosted at all since EBC then it's a possibility, but it did, and now nothing so I don't believe it is gonna be that. Center muffler collapse / dead turbo based on the volume of air exiting your exhaust.
Tonight i removed the exhaust and took it for a drive....still no boost all the way to 7k I'll pull off the dumps on the weekend and see what the turbo's look like. I think i should start saving for some turbo's
