    HI guys,

Recieved this from matt yesterday, but need help from anyone in brisbane with the software as I wouldnt know the first thing about it, hence why i didnt buy any software...lol

    Hi Stephen

I did your Z32 ECU install as part of the 300ZX group buy which was organised Only just noticed when going through boxes your note about tuning adjustments for the ECU you provided At this time only the factory tune is in the board. For the 740CC injectors and SELIN dual intakes you will need to perform injector resize in the Nistune software (turn off TP scaling tickbox) and then adjusting the injection multiplier depending how your SELIN unit is configured (eitheraverage or add both sensors). I think average requires no further adjustment

    Regards
    Matt Brown

any help would be appreciated I'm on the northside.

    cheers,

    steve

So just to clarify, you've sent in you ECU to Matt to have Nistune install and it was a stock ECU, but you have 740CC injectors and Selin dual intakes on your car?

I can help you Steve. Bring your ecu around, plug into my zed (for power), make changes, save, unplug, drive home, plug ecu into your zed. Done.

yeh A-Bris_Z thats correct i sent him my ecu with a letter on top of it stating all the things ive done to my engine that might affect the base tune and he didnt see it, I should have emailed it i guess.. im in lawnton chrispy but since the ecu isn't in the car i can bring it to anyone as mike suggested, i need to get this sorted as the car is at my parents at the moment with the enigine and various other things going back in, and need to get it home before i can get toshi up to tune it...

    Thanks guys,

    Steve

    Hi - for info

You can also join the nistune forum and get some maps off others that relate to your mods (as well as here)

Toshi is also good at this stuff and the finer adjustments (I have heard from many others). He does travel that way in his rounds.

How convenient ;) My folks live at Samford. Is your motor ready to be started? If I bring around the lappy we could do it, or do you need to put it in my zed?

I'm pretty crook at the moment, but if I'm feeling alright I'll give you a yell. Might have to wait until next weekend :br:

Kewl, just let us know when it's back in and I'll swing by and check things over too.

I like putting the engine and gearbox back in as a whole. Jack the front of the car up, drop the crossmember (leave the lower suspension control arms attached). You will need another jack under the gearbox to adjust level though. It's a lot easier than stuffing about under the car trying to get the gearbox back on.

Yeh didn't need the hassle of taking off the gearbox!!...the whole car is about 1.5 feet off the ground, so I'm going to drop the front down so that combined with the tilt from the gearbox weight it should come up quite high, I'm trying to avoid pulling it entirely as I'm only putting on turbos and renewing some of the hoses and stuff on the rear, but combined with all the deletes a plenum pull and renewing all the connectors I doubt it's going to start so there maybe some problem solving to get it going again...
