check this out....its pretty well priced........i mean ive come across some bargins such as a really nice 96 TT man in QLD for 10 gran, but we all cant get a bargan.. http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=12905
if i were to do my time again, i'd buy that for sure DAMN. Would have been hell worth the wait in fact... you've got me thinking DAMN you've got me thinking Even if i priced mine at $10K for a quick sale, to get that puppy for another $6,500 on top of what ive already spent... id be happy hmm...... damn you UK holiday
You sure? Says TT in the add, has TT front bar and the later models didnt come out with a stock boost gauge soo looks like a TT too me.
Correct me if i'm wrong (and maybe I am), but why would Nissan take the boost gauge out in 97, then put it back in in 2000? http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276111 That's a 2000 spec in that thread, with boost gauge. Cheers, -Kirill
yeah i was assuming TT based on the Add Had a hard think on the drive home. Would LOVE to go for this but wont. Better th devil you know and all that. I have to stop thinking the grass is greener somewhere else. It WONT cost me $6.5K to get my zed up to scratch... maybe $6.4k lols
Yeah, just stick to what you got man. The only way i would jump from my zed to another zed is if i got a 2000 spec. Other than that, mine is perfect. (well, after I correct some issues). Cheers, -Kirill
For the record nissan did drop the boost gauge from all TT models from 94 - 98 and then put it back into the 2000spec model. I think this is becuase nissan started to reduce cost by making most standard equipment in the z a optional part when you purchased the car. The 2000spec got all the optionals as standard. I would still hold on to my current z as it was my first z and first car. Still would of been nice to get this beauty for sure.
if only i knew if i knew about this site i would of waited and spent that little bit extra on my car - i should of got an import so i was the first in aust to own it - but o well...
Being the first to own a car in aus doesnt mean anything. At least you can drive the car before you purchase it. I dont see what all the comotion is about, a Z is a Z (unless its 2k maby?) There are good ones and there are bad ones. I imagine you could get quite a mint Z for 16G's
imports can work, but can also be a horror story First Zed i looked at, the guy had imported himself (back in the 15 year rule) and spent $20K on the car AFTER landing, to get it up to scratch Scratch being still bad enough for a baaad RAC inspection and for me to walk away and wait another 2 years. On the other hand, one of the nicest Zeds i Know (midnites) was an import
