hi all just bought my first z32 last friday and was straight on google looking for forums lol. glad i found this site, been very helpfull so far i live in Budgewoi NSW but frequent sydney quite often so keen to come on a few cruises with you guys anyway here's a pic of the new beast, (might have to wait till monday, got extremely slow net at home and photobuckets being gay) has a couple of issues, ie. vibration in the rear which i found out is the rear inner tie rod ends, have already ordered a new set so should be fixed up next week. only mods to it are the rims, axle back exhaust and stiffer springs/shocks. having a bit of trouble finding decent exhaust systems in aus, they all seem to be overseas, if anyone has any info on what shops/best place to get one in NSW please let me know. enough from me for now, names Mitch, nice to meet you all cheers

Welcome Mitch from the Vic crew if your anything like Abz and lucky enough!!! You will pick up a ridiculously good system for chips! Is it auto? I find with my cat back it's very droney and highly annoying in every day driving, if that is its an every day car? I'm reverting back to the stock Exhaust system!

Even my UAS exhaust wasn't a direct bolt on. Try a higher quality muffler/resonator, it should shut it up a bit and cost less than a new system. My 2.5" system was 89dB or so.
Thanks mate, I had an exhaust place put in a new baffle muffler a while ago, he said its as quiet as stock, puts it all in and it was better but still droney. And that's how it stands now. I had a look underneath and in the middle of the system is a hotdog. Is this stock? Or was there actual mufflers there? I was thinking swapping the mufflers to the middle and have the hotdogs at the back....my findings from my other cars has been a nice sweat high pitched note
hi all, thanks for the warm welcome here's a couple of photo's as promised car is pretty much stock 110k's, 5MT, just has the wheels, stiffer springs/shocks, pod filter, recaro seats and an axle back exhaust hence the reason im asking where to get one from. thinking about having a crack at building one myself, doesn't look too hard as long as i get the right mandrel bends etc, im a draftsman/boilermaker by trade so ill be able to work it out pretty easy, will just start with a cat back them move onto the dumps, can see them being a bit of a hassle got a new steering wheel and a boss kit coming this week, also got the new tie rods coming too so the vibration will be all fixed up also think i may have met one of the previous owners on thursday arvo at Bob Jane in Erina, random coinsidence i thought lol, said he'd help me out with the car anytime i need it, got somewhere to go when i need cheap tyres/alignments etc. COROLLA PLUG/EDIT anyone need a cheap run around? 02 corolla levin for sale pictured in second photo, pm me if interested
also does anyone know how to replace the gas struts in the hatch, just got a new pair today and cant work out how to get them off that little ball end thing lol, been searching for the last hour on here and on google, cant seem to find anything
