Hi all, It's been quite a while since i have been on. Lots of work at work Well for those who know i have a 1990 Zed. NA 2 seater. Had my share of problems but as we all know, thats what you get for being bitten by the zed bug. My origanal plan was to get the two seater NA and then upgrade it to the TT. but after searching for a good frontclip deal i have decided to scrap that plan for a new one. so now i shall be on the hunt for a 2+2 TT. and then giving it a FULL overhaul. there is going to be nothing that is not inspected, pondered over, cleaned or replaced. I aim to spend a lot of time making sure that my zed is the dream car that i want. (this may include a 2nd hand low km engine or one from COZ.) i have decided on a budget of about 30k for this. this is to include all repairs, new parts and upgrades. Now thime for my questions for the collective masses of this forum. Is my budget of 30k reasonable? Anybody with experience with doing this, what are the most common problem areas? Any addional things i should be looking at before starting this project? Any tips that can be passed along would be greatly welcome. Thanks all Ryan
:rofl: $30k might just about leave you enough for a drink when you finish it really for that amount you should get one sweet Zed :br: Just take your time deciding which one and maybe ask on the forum before handing over your hard earned cash. Cheers Dave
