New Z32, got a couple of rookie questions

Just a couple of questions i couldn't find the answer to in search.

Is there somewhere i can download a pdf of the user manual for my Z32?

Its an 89 Aus delivered.

How does the auto air con work? I understand setting the temp and letting it do the rest. but whats REC and ECON do?

Also, the computer settings (Hold, A/T and POWER)
Is there anything that explains this properly? Is it as simple as it changing at a higher RPM in power and the opposite in hold and automatic in A/T?

Unless someone changed the pod to a Climate Control one, your car isn't Aus delivered... (and your sig pic seems to be a 93+ Jspec one). Anyway, Auto turns on the aircon. Rec is recirculating air in the cabin and Econ is just air, no aircon.

I can't help you with your Auto questions though...

REC, is recycle. ECON is just the fan (no cooling).

Well it might not be aus delivered. It has a green plate, thought its what it was.

my old pulsar you just connected a-b on the computer and coded the flashes of the ecm.

A good photocopier/scanner multifunction device... I've got one at work that I'd gladly use and make the end result available to the world, but I don't have a manual.

 

No sorry yours probably is not Aus Delivered

All (early at least - not sure about the last ones) Aus delivered had Manual Airconditioning, not the climate control "auto' type. Changing from the manual system to the auto one, would, I think, be a massive job. I doubt that anyone would have converted an Aus Spec to Climate control.

I got my service manual from here: http://carfiche.com/manuals023/cars/ Im not exactly sure how it works as there seems to be different manuals available whenever i refresh, i downloaded the 96 and 90 model manuals but they're all the same and in pdf format...and free, enjoy.

 

Need a shot from the back to tell if its AUS delivered or not, if it has the 2 red reflectors then its probably Australian Delivered.

JSPEC buddy. Hope you didn't buy it from a dealer as an AUSSPEC...I'd be going back there with your cranky pants on...good AUSSPEC's command a slightly dearer price.

 

it is a j-spec mate

the aus spec have rear rectangular markers on the rear bar

 

The rear bar along with the green plate shows it's a J-spec, as Andy quoted, be pissed if you paid overs.

 

those also arnt the aus spec fog lights.

 

Nah wasn't advertised as either. I pretty much stoll the car for $6500
