Dunno if this is in the right section? but... I have been posted to Vic, and I am now at Puckapunyal near Seymour.. We have made the drive down here in the xtrail, and the zed is being transported down by Ceva. I was wondering has any one spotted the 'Flamin zed' on a truck? it travelled all the way down the coast, and I have no idea where it is? it's supposed to be getting dropped off next week on the 13th Also does any one know any good welders near the Seymour area? I need to get my exhaust fixed, the dumps joined to my exsisting system.. Thanking you, and keep a eye out for the flamin zed to follow
100 mtrs from the entrance to Pucka is a Garage . I'm sure they even sell moonshine there. You will know what i mean when you see it. Ask around when you get on base and i'm sure someone will send you in the right direction. Probably opposite to that garage.:rofl:
Welcome to central Vic, we're practically neighbours now Did you see the thread in Coming Events about Heathcote Park Drags? About 30 - 40 minutes from where you are. Their website - http://www.heathcoteraceway.com.au/home.shtml I realise your Zed is not even in Vic yet, let alone ready to drive. But maybe a good chance to meet some of the Vic members.
Yeah I had a look, only problem is the zed is a little way off running at the moment lol.. See my build thread, i've built my motor with GT28r turbos I really wanna race it but I have a little more of tidying up first Might be able to talk to wife into going for a drive in the pimped out xtrail And yes I've seen the workshop/servo.. what do you mean about it looking dodgy? looks legit lol Yeah I've gotta wait till the car gets here first, then when the mad rush of moving has settled down I'll start looking more in depth.. As for it already being raced lol it had no battery, oil, coolant, and the exhaust was hanging off.. Plus I was running short of time and ziptied every thing together in the engine bay, the coil pack connectors, hoses etc.. looked funny as, will get some photos when it gets here..
Stretch ... i saw it ...!!!! .. on an ABC news program, tonight ...... it looked great sitting on that barge and simply flying down that flooded, rampaging river .. i imagine that it will arrive at the Murray River mouth, via Lake Eyre, in a month or two .. lol...
As funny as that sounds.. I called ceva today to find out what's happening with both my zed and the wife's swift.. To which they replied the swift is in Melb terminal already. As for the zed it was on a truck heading down the coast a couple of days ago, I think he may have gotten stuck at Rocky.. They are trying to get in contact with the driver to find out if he stopped in Rocky or changed route and went inland.. I so hope it went in land..
