Coming Soon the Ultimate Z32 FUCA's!!!!!!!!!
After over a year in development and testing, we are happy to present the new Z1 Motorsports Z32 Front Upper Control Arms.

Extreme focus has been put on each component to guarantee the best product for the Z32 and it's community.
The functionality and highest quality materials we could pack into these truly make them the ultimate Z32 FUCA.

Completely developed in house with a collaborative effort, some extensive CAD work on Dustin's part; a lot of abusive testing (thanks Russell), a few prototypes and a couple of design revisions have brought us to where we are today.

Offering a superior range of motion, adjust-ability, and the lowest weight on the market were our #1 priorities.

Of course making them sexy came naturally to us.

    Let the teasing begin!!!!

    Like what you see?
So do we, and stringent production guidelines have led us to get parts we are extremely happy with.

My pictures won't do these justice, as even the finish of the black hard anodized ends look almost as good as a grand piano.
The precision of the machine work on the aluminum ends, the stainless steel adjuster and jam nuts is excellent.

No compromise on our concept has made the great fitment and performance a reality.
Once equipped with these your car should bottom out before control arms and other suspension components are getting in contact with each other, how Nissan intended.

We know how you guys like options so from the beginning of their development we decided to make these available in 2 ways as you saw above, first in the street version with custom Energy suspension? bushings. You won't have spend extra money for solid tension rods, or give up the cushion of a bushing style tension rod on your street car to "save the bearings" in your front upper control arm.
When all you want is camber adjustment this can really save you.

Or if you have more track time in mind and want the low resistance the bearings can offer we will offer these in a race version with bearings
(we will recommend the solid tension rods at that point but it's cool you are a race car driver).

Sorry they aren't on the shelf yet, but they should be soon.

I should have bearings in soon and I will post up pictures of the race version for you guys then.

Sorry to say that this design is essentially the same as a previously failed UAS type from several years ago. The only real difference is the "flashy" end sections(the threaded centre section is almost identical and is the weak point in the design). They still don't address the "twisting motion" that causes all the grief.

    But they have bushings?

  4. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Look good. Doesn't look like they'll foul. Awaiting further reviews...

Yeah the shape of the inners side is nice and curved to clear the mounting bracket

Agreed, however as Chilli says, clearance on the mounting bracket won't be an issue with these, I see the issue being the strength of the adjustment thread.

That being said, the thread is in the centre of the arm, unlike my broken stillen units that had the adjustment on the mounting bracket end.

    Wouldn't mind testing these though.

haha by the looks of them I'll definitely get a pair when the bushings on my current FUCA's wear out, pending consumer reviews of course!

Hmmm not quite sure about "ultimate"!

They look OK, but as I posted in the motorsport thread unless the arms are allowed to pivot they will suffer the same binding/wearing issues that all the others do. Allowing it to move on a bushing at either end is hardly a "fix".

If your car is so low that the arms foul on the mounting brackets then your handling is so badly compromised by ridiculous ride height that you needn't worry about camber etc haha

There is no actual mention of adjustability range is there..?

    +/- 3°?

  15. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

standard for aftermarket FUCA's is 4*, I doubt they'd be less than that

As said in Motorsport, far from ultimate, just a regular midori design with fancy ends for a little more clearance & bushes. Plus if it's anything like their throttle bodies maybe wait for version 2 for the issues to be acknowledged & fixed.

Personally will wait to see UAS v.2 (which can't be far off as sau group buy are preparing to ship) & the mythical spl arms before deciding to upgrade my midori style.

The threaded part is not thick enough .(which is the weakest point)

UAS V2 are looking good .

Just need to understand running suspension low to the point where the FUCA hits the bracket will cause damage eventually.. no matter how bulky the arms are ..
its that simple of an explanation .!

  18. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Not if they're thin enough not to foul like stock arms

YOUR HEIGHT WILL ALWAYS HIT ..wait til you actually drive it hard and hit a pot hole :)..
I've been that low on my Z (with hard suspension) when you were 11 years old and I thought it handled good :p

Ive hit heaps of stupid shit on the roads, ever since going back to stock FUCA's I've never had a problem with fouling, or any problems for that matter.

I do agree though, handling could be improved significantly if we raised it... But nah.
