Hi Everyone I know I am probably repeating what a few other people have said already but here goes anyway. I have had my Z for a bit over 12 months now, however it was damaged quite badly about 8 months ago due to vandalism. Therefore it has been off the road since then. I start it and take it out as often as I can, though it needs a bit of work now (including the 100 000k service). I have only been in Canberra about 7 months ad need some advice as to who does good work on Z's. Also, if anyone knows a good panel beater it would be much appreciated. $9 000 damage but I couldnt bear to part with it. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome mate. I too have had fun recently with the local youth and their love of a good ol' rock through the window etc... I can recommend 'Kustom colours' in Queanbeyan for any paintwork required (shameless plug for a family friend) Owners name is Steve. I'd start there and Im sure he could recommend a decent panel beater. Only one I can think of is 'Capital Collision Repairs' or something like that. Had good dealings with them through my old work. Best idea is to come to the upcoming cruise in August (hopefully I might actually make it this time) and say hi to the locals... Dan.

Thanks to all Thankyou everyone for replying. Canberra seems to be a friendly place for Z's. I look forward to joining in any events that are happening around the town. As for the damage: Keyed every panel on the car Smashed left hand window Scratched windscreen Smashed left hand mirror off Got inside and cut up all the leather on the seats. Damage door trim. But oh well, time to make it better than before.:biggrin: PS: Anyone thinking of selling some decent 18's?
thats horrible to hear, dam homeless kids! People need to learn some respect for property that is NOT theres! As for canberra, im not sure, i am from dubbo nsw. Look on the zed related for sale parts on the forums, you will find alot of second hand parts including windows, seats and blinkers/mirrors All the best. I know how it feels to be in love with the 300zx... i had a accident in mine about 8 months ago and i still haven't got mine fixed... Its horrible to see them in that state all the best and hopefully i might see you on the road soon! if i get my 300zx fixed by 5th of Aug... i dont like my chances, but i might... i might come along to the cruise/meeting then All the best Wilo
