Hi and welcome to the forum

Check the technical section and click on 'Buy a Zed'. It's filled with lots of info about Zeds in general and what to look for. Please fill out your profile so someone may assist you in looking at one you are about to buy. The Zed will be far more economical than your rotary. Expect economy of around 10L per 100KM on the highway. The Zed is heavy compared to other sports cars but most sports cars don't handle as well as a Zed. As for maintenace they are pretty good depending on how the previous owner looked after it. I imported mine around 2 months ago and haven't had a problem.

    Weight

As far as other sports cars go, they are on pretty much on par with Skylines and Supras, and much lighter than Soarers, GTO's, SVX's etc

Keep in mind the zed also has a lower centre of gravity, and more aerodynamic which helps with handling and its V6 3 litre twin turbo engine more than makes up for its weight in the power and torque department. Its an excellent cruiser.

Keep in mind also that its a luxury sports car, and luxury features such as electric seats if ya got em, all add up.
