I got a new set of DBA slotted rotors. I thought they'd just be pretty much the same as the factory ones, I got the right year and everything. but they are too thick for the gutter in the calipers. Can i just grind the gutter out so they fit? or should they fit and I'm doing it wrong...
Sounds like a case of early NA calipers and TT rotors. Probably best to either return the rotors for the right ones or buy a set of TT calipers. Personally I wouldn't try grinding the opening in your calipers.
I take it uve got an early NA? u need 26 mm rotors for them the 30's won't fit. Take them back and get the right ones. Regards Trev
can she /he just get TT calipers and put them on .. may even be better for the car .. if you can get some cheap ones , why not
If you don't answer the original question about what model Z32 you have, then no one can help you with accurate info.:zlove:
send me your set of TT calipers and i'll paint and rebuild them for you lol but anyway. Used TT calipers (to fit the 30mm wide rotor) go from anywhere between 200 and 400 dollars, i was lucky in that i got mine for under 200 bucks off a wreck. Check the seals when buying as it'll be another 50-100 bucks to reseal them. Try swapping the rotors at the shop
yeh, Z32 89 or 90 unsure. Rego says 90 but i think its 89. It's an N/A anyone want a brand new pair of DBA TT slotted rotors for $310? lol
i'd love them BUT i think i've going to go with bigger rotors, put em up in the FS section someone will probably get them
