I got a new set of DBA slotted rotors.

I thought they'd just be pretty much the same as the factory ones, I got the right year and everything. but they are too thick for the gutter in the calipers.

Can i just grind the gutter out so they fit? or should they fit and I'm doing it wrong...

Sounds like a case of early NA calipers and TT rotors. Probably best to either return the rotors for the right ones or buy a set of TT calipers. Personally I wouldn't try grinding the opening in your calipers.

Do you have a NA or TT? The NA ones are 26mm wide, the TT ones are 30mm wide.

I take it uve got an early NA? u need 26 mm rotors for them the 30's won't fit.
Take them back and get the right ones.

This possible? I can't return one of them because it's already been fitted.

If you don't answer the original question about what model Z32 you have, then no one can help you with accurate info.:zlove:

send me your set of TT calipers and i'll paint and rebuild them for you :D
lol but anyway. Used TT calipers (to fit the 30mm wide rotor) go from anywhere between 200 and 400 dollars, i was lucky in that i got mine for under 200 bucks off a wreck. Check the seals when buying as it'll be another 50-100 bucks to reseal them. Try swapping the rotors at the shop
