G-day all, names Kai, i'm just introducing myself, i've been lurking and occasionaly posting on here during the past week. I fell in love with the ZX about 3 years ago after seeing my workmates and getting to drive it around for a few weeks, was going to buy it (he only wanted 3k for it, but i couldnt get the funds from the bank (Though fulltime employed!! ) That was a 85 2+2 NA, and when i googled it for further info on the car, i found the 90's models and fell head over heels :zlove: The plan is to get a 90-93 model Z and do her up beautifuly for a weekender/showcar when i get my insurance payout from a car accident i had back in 08 where i broke my back in L1-L3 and a few other things Well thats me, i hope i'll get quite a few more tips and hits from here and hopefully when i get my car be able to go on a few road trips with you guys Edited to add. i hope to learn from you's because i'm not that mechanicaly minded, i can do exteriors when i have them in my hands, but give me an engin /motor or anything mechanical and i'll look at you like i'm fred flintstone with a I-POD:rofl:
Oh amen brother, i know that feeling. Interior, exterior i can fiddle with till it comes out nice. I cant even look at an engine without it breaking lol.
Welcome Kai. I know what you mean when it comes to these vehicles mechanically. I can rebuild 2 stroke bike engines with my eyes closed and twirl spanners all over them, but put fuel injected, turboed, computer everythinged sports car in front of me and I'm off to the beer fridge to sit and think up excuses for taking it to the local Z mechanic. Anyway, its always nice to post pics of your ride, I get a sense that it gives people a triangulated point on where you stand when it comes to asking any tips or for advice... just a thought.

No idea mate, but i hope its in a good way Mine will hopefully be a balence between raw power and beauty, as i'll refine it to make it look pretty, but also drop a v8 TT into it Well all the 300 drivers ive encountered have been total twats, so if you mean like them, then hell F*ck no mate. Oh and longy....Your Z's leaking oil (saw it at dan murphy's and forgot to tell you through pm that i saw it leaking a bit)
