Little more info I'm sure all injectors are correct will be checking coils tomorrow fuel pump does prime and there is pressure at the fpr I'm pretty sure I got the ptu correct the second time round
Never had power when first installed all earths from loom and the ones on the head/bellhousing are connected
I have installed the manual alternator loom but Is there any modifications I missed that I have to do as far as I could work out its just plug and play, in saying this though a clip that was on the auto loom (oval shaped light grey with 6 pins) will not match up to the clip on the manual loom (oval shaped light grey 8 pin) will take pics later but can anyone shed any light on this?
Please fix the problem ok so I went out this morning after leaving the battery off all night. checked codes. got 55. beautiful. tried cranking. nothing checked codes again still 55 awesome. heres a video of whats happening http://s1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa396/Painter2011/Mobile Uploads/ Now here is my clip in question. this is one the body loom in engine bay and was connected when the automatic alternator loom came out unfortunatly now with the manual loom in this is the clip and it wont match up as mentioned the old one is a 6 pin and the new an 8 pin any ideas what it is? here is a picture of the fuel system. just incase i got anything wrong. I check all the coil pack the wires seem to be in the right position. have not got the multi meter on them yet though. On a side note win. and also got my new cowls THANKS MATE!!!
Take the fuel line off and make sure there is fuel primed in the lines, took me awile to get fuel up my lines. once I did it puffed to life

Ugh what a weekend. Turns out my engine is kaput. no compression so all of that time putting everything back in is now down the drain and has to come back out. thems the breaks i spose So while i've been sulking and trying to figure out what direction i'm going to take I sat down with my interior. all interior pieces stripped of old crappy tweed center console bits. Has come up really nicely so far. Door trims glove box and rear panels to go
Finished off mounting my apexi turbo timer and boost gauge and my HDi boost controller, replaced heater components I removed for the manual pedal install...Just waiting on a loom for my headunit then I can bolt all the dash back together
I will get you the name of it when I am near the parts again (its all at my mates house as i've run out of room atm) you dont need to worry so much about the adhesive. It's just from bunnings about $15 a can ive used it before and its awesome to use. Have a hunt for a light spray product you dont want anything too heavy. Also it comes down to the type of material your using. I got mine from a trimmer so it has a backing which makes for easier application and also is very easy to clean and doesnt leave finger prints or marks.
wow man, sorry to hear about the kaput engine. im praying to the zed gods i dont share the same fate or i have no idea what i'll do! where did you buy the engine?
A couple of small wins today. Painted up my dash fascia and installed the vents and HDoi boost controller Wiring loom came for my double din headunit so I powered that up Recieved my new nose panel which had 500 layers of paint and a couple of cracks but managed to fix it up and put in in primer. Got some mesh to put in the back of it too Also got Laam's sideskirt finished in primer but I will leave those details for another thread
So i'm using sellys quikgrip in a pressure pack can. so far its doing really well. Will post some more pics up soon i've nearly trimmed everything that was done in tweed plus two rear sections that the leather was severely shrunken from sun. And a little bit of an update. I'm still angry at the car hense not working on it and no new posts. But after alot of deliberation and chopping and changing (SORRY BRYAN) I have bought an engine coming out of Sevenangrypenguins (Thanks Chris) who will be pulling it out soon. Compression test turned out good results and the car is running so two boxes ticked right there. I will have it sent to Bryan and then i'll be going overseas to relax. When I come back hopefully everything is running and I can finish off the rest of the build. I am taking a break from working on my car as work like Laam's bars and other cash work is taking up a fair chunk of my time. I cant complain too much
