if you turley want unique, maybe mix and match some kits that go well or even have one slightly modded to suit just the look your after.
lol, no offence mate....but why ask and then say if you like it then get it. thats what counts. there isnt anything wrong with asking for opinions but dont ask 'yay or nay' if you then say 'people saying they dont like it isnt going to change your mind' but again, as stated, if you like it, get it as its your car. Erik
Well Thankya for hte input, keep it coming I'm going to stick by it and see how it turns out. If anyones interested i'll throw up some pics in a few months when i get the wheels on, car/kit painted and finish up my interior.
... You must have missed the point lol. I wanted opinions, the yay or nay is how i was going to get opinions...? whats not to understand lol... But once again thanks for the feedback all.
here's the rims on zed. not exactly the same but close enough. they look awful. again, your car, your choice.
i dont understand why you want opinions on the vs kit if you then say 'your opinions arent going to change my mind'......again not ahaving a go but it doesnt make sense
There are many more than 5 Z32's in Canberra(one member alone owns 5/6 at last count, I think). P.S. You may find that the above rim WILL NOT supply sufficient cooling to your brakes(and somewhere down the track you could live to regret using them).:zlove:
Nah its a fair question, its more like when you get a haircut lol, you've already got it cut but you still ask people how it looks?
ahh ok, now that makes more sense.....in that case....nay nay nay nay nay nay nay imho....but its your car
maybe i'm the 6th? as far as i know (and have seen) there arent all that many here. And my cars N/A i dont drive her hard often or over long distances so im not too concerned about the cooling on the old brakes, but thanks for the heads up mate.
aaaaaaahhhhhh now i know what look your after. there was a zed for sale on hear about a year ago with VS kit and simular rims. Very rice if that's your thing, go for it. That guy also had a VERY vented bonnet and eyelids He even had a youtube vid of the car lol. Damn i wish i could remember who it was. One thing i will say is... TAKE YOUR TIME. I have these CRAZY ideas about what i want to do with the zed. Fortuanatly i dont have the ready cash to run out and do them straight away, so im forced to SIT on the idea. know what happens? The look i had in mind "bores me" and i move on to something else. be 100% sure that you WILL be happy with your car the way you want it, even when other people call it ugly (and that will happen... and you WILL get upset by it)
Haha, yeah you got it man, and yes i've had the old put down about owning a 300zx before. Meh doesnt phase me i love her lol.
Now that I've seen the rims, and the kit you have in mind... I'm going to side with the majority and say nay. If you want to think of it in terms of haircuts... the combo you have proposed is the automotive equivalent of the mullet. Contrary to what you might imagine, there are plenty of Zed's getting around the ACT and the Veilside isn't a particularly rare kit. It's just particularly ugly. Can appreciate wanting to be different, but subtlety seems to work best with the Z32. Try to accentuate the OEM lines rather than fight against them to create something uniquely beautiful. Oh and those rims would look even worse on a 2+0 short wheelbase model.
