I splashed out and bought some new leather covers for the 2+2 and have now fitted them. The knowledge from fitting the leatherette covers a few years ago made the job a bit easier but that leather is tougher to work with than the leatherette. I know from previous experience that a lot of the creases and wrinkles come out by themselves over time so I am not that worried about them. Any that don't I will get out later when my back has recovered...LOL Overall I have been very happy with the leatherette covers. For the money I think they were good value and well made. Fronts Rear Kids also bought me a new DVD/GPS/Radio for Fathers Day (you have to get in early) to replace one I put in about four years ago.
Baz I think on the scheme of things their investment is doing pretty good...LOL For those asking about the seats. The covers I purchased from eBay and here is a link to the supplier. He occasionally has a best offer on the 2+2 but not that often. So it is US$400 + US$85 freight. Still at just over A$500 it is a lot cheaper than going to an upholsterer. The job is a bitch but well worth it. It took me two weekends to do the seats. Backs are easy but the buckets do take a bit of work to get right. Thanks for the compliments
