Sorry guys, there has been a delay in shipping these out due to low stock levels overseas. However I have been told that they should ship out before the end of the week, and shipping time is usually 2-3 days to your door, I will provide everyone with tracking numbers once the units have shipped.

Does anyone know which one is better out of these two and if you do have any left overs is the alarm system in this GB better than the ones in the ebay site above. cheers.

 

Both the units you linked to AND this group buy system use

a single external relay for immobilisation and coloured wiring which doesnt provide that much protection unless both the alarm box AND immobiliser relay are well hidden...

As I've said all along, these sorts of systems are great for the remote start/paging/turbo timer features but NOT as pure security systems.

I'd be buying an aust standards approved triple internal-relay system like Mongoose, Cyclops, Viper etc with all black wiring and circuit immobilisation points placed in hard to reach places around the car as your main security function, THEN get this sort of alarm for the extra features...

People often say I'm paranoid about security but just see the post by poor zxfire who's zed was stolen even with a 2 point alarm...
