Just had my car dyno tuned today! Thanks to tom from Perthzperformance! Quiet good power considering the boost drops to 13psi. 347.3rwhp or 255rwkw (stock turbos and internals)
its a dam good tune you've got there, but dont be suprised if your turbo's have been highflowed. very good power level on that boost. EDIT - also be aware that if you are on stock injectors you will be in the high 90's of injector duty cycle.
it can be done yes, i personally did 245rwkw on stock turbos and injectors. but its a huge power level for 13psi. not calling b.s , just saying dont be suprised if the turbo's have been highflowed.
MODS MODS MODS??? I want to know them. btw, im going to be getting mine tuned by tom soon, how long did it take etc and costs? If you dont mind. Thanks mate
yeah stock turbos will do it, but not at 13psi, more like 18psi, for stock turbos. Flowed stock turbo's with 28r cores will do it at 13psi.
hey performance mods are- Front mount gfb bov (plumed back) hks ignition amp Blitz spec r ebc ligter fly wheel underdrive pulley 56mm radiator Tune agent style dumps and pipes going into 3inch cat to back
I very much doubt there hi-flowed otherwise I would prob be able to hold 15psi then. lol And they prob would of put a stronger spring in the actuators if they were going to highflow them!
hey Jesse300.. awesome man great work ... any pods???? just my 2 cen .. back of the timing and pump the boost up to about 15 16 psi ,,, let it spike to 17.... ,, you will see good results .. it OK to turn the timing back ,,, adjust your boost ... then turn your timing up bit by bit ,, ,,, make sure it does not ping ,,, let the engine tell you when it is happy , .. if it pings ,, leave boost, and turn timing down you will feel it when it is happy ... like i said , just my 2 cen ..
if its not holding boost then thats a problem with the actuators, stock auto turbo's with good actuators will hold up to 18psi, pmack has shown that. lol with weak actuators my highflows wouldnt hold over 10psi
