For a while now my driver side window has not been operating. When you press you switch there is a faint 'click' from behind the door trim (upper central area). If I sit there pressing it over and over and giving the trim a bit of a thump it sometimes works but I would rather not have to do this, especially if I ever get pulled over for an RBT or something similar.

    Any ideas????

I pulled the switch apart today, as much as I could anyway, and it seems to be in good order, and if there is something clicking further along the line then I think I can discount the switch.

Thanx in advance for any help

    Cheers

    p.s. I did try search Pete :p;):D:zlove:

Ok.. I just did a draft tech article on this

but apparently it is not up yet. Let me talk to Wyyked, and see if he's got it done (editing), then I would email you the copy or ask him to email it to you. Whatever you do, DONT get a new motor or any other parts yet, it is basically a loose solder point in a small black box which controls your auto shut/open feature of the power window. (near the bottom of your door, not the switches. I'll see how it is, latest I will get back to you tomorrow. Then PM me your email so I can send you the document. (the draft if Wykked is not finished)

    Cheers
