Also depends on brand and type of sub >> Each brand of Sub requires different size boxes. (required dimentions are probably written on the sub packaging) Then you can look at designs and shapes. :thumbsup:
Does this help? Most 12's need about a cubic foot of air to work well, work on this and you can't go wrong.
It depends on a few factors... Do you have the technical details for your sub? Also, are you wanting a ported or sealed enclosure? Detail the Resonate Frequency and QES of your sub and i'll give you an approximate size... btw, tidy install DUB...
O M G did you get that done professionaly or yourself ? Either way i'd LOVE to get a setup like that to give me back some boot space. What sorta cost was that ?
It was pretty cheap, only cost 5 months of mostly weekends some late evenings and about 50 trips to Bunnings Best excuse I could come up with to justify a heap of new tools too
ahh custom diy job may i ask how you made it, like i can make a box easily enough but is it a fibre glass design ? would think you'd need some sort of re-inforcing etc. It just looks so damned neat it something I'd really like to get done.
The line starts somewhere past Blipman>>> for the moulds when I get around to it. It is all fibreglass except for the sub ring. I did some mini write-ups on the build earlier this year, Initial floor lining Final shape mock-up Almost finished
