ok so started hearing a rattling coming from under the car, checked it out got my ear as close as i could without jacking it up and by the seems of it it is one of my cats, don't know which one. i was wondering around how much it will cost to get it replaced and if anyone can recommend somewhere in adelaide to do it?
and if the cat was gone would that cause a small amount of smoke on startup and a smell sort of like fuel? well at least the guys at the crash repairer said it was smokin a bit when they started it but i havent actually noticed anything
Cost me 180$ to get 2 new cats installed. i got quotes from 3 different work shops and they all quoted the exact same price so i think 180 is the going price. thats isntallation only.
lol could but id rather not XD will the cats generally have some type of marking on them to tell what brand/type/part no. they are?
replace them with hi flow cats and if your lucky you "might" get fire popping now thats the real ghetto
