I Need new BOVs, but i want plumb back.. i dont like the cop bait atmospherics, so can anyone give me advice on good ones? im only running 15psi max

Im seriously considering the Turbosmart kompact series.. but im not up with the technologies.. so cant decide.
is it worth buying "hks style" knock offs for a Medium boost daily?

Do a search, there has been quiet a few recently brought up threads commenting on the current range of BOV.

Depends on your budget, how much have you to spend.

I like the Turbosmart items, but its one of many good brands available.

Second on the Turbosmart's, I have a Type 3 at home, dead sexy piece of kit (and will be on the lookout for another to match it).

But for 15psi, just use stock recirc valves or those cheap stock replacements from Z1 or wherever it was. I think Brisz had a thread on it a few months ago.

Lol, im using a stock zed on in my dato 720...only 10psi however....and its not plumbed up completely....cough-cough......who said anything about the venting sound.....all the time....

Good prompt too Chrispy, any real reason for wanting BOVs Zed32tt?

Thats unless the stock ones are goose honking you, than it makes sense.

Yea got good goose honk.. and REALLY loud induction, and BOV sounds...
Iv also got a detonation sound, like a loose washer or maybe bov spring? Iv dropped back to 10psi boost and retarded timing 10deg, so im told im pretty safe its not det.
Bovs are the only thing i can put it to. starts on boost and rattles a bit more when the butterflys close...
it happened when i put my new Z1 intercoolers on, and suspect when i was running 13.5psi, the extra boost gained just blew the bovs finally..??

im pretty sure mine are rooted, but i couldnt find the stockies new, tho i only looked at COZ for them...

    Turbo xs bovs

I used to have Turbosmart bov's but they lasted about 3 months and gave up the ghost, they have too large a tolerence.

I used to work for turbo xs and there stuff is quality, hand finished stuff and very reasonably priced.

i run two of there RFL bovs (full atmo) on mine and no problems at all
