need advice. i have 98 import and need speed sensor but cant find one

i keep looking on usa ebay etc and all the speed sensors year range for sale are 91-96. because mine is a jap import 98 model i can't seem to find a speed sensor for my auto non turbo...

is this possibly a 200 or 240 sx part number. nissan have them for $350 but i have seen earlier models for $50.00.. i need help identifying what other car is compatible or if the other 91-96 parts will fit mine

any advice would be great

 

SHould be the same/similar as the earlier ones. Someone with CAST will be able to confirm.

And you are 100% sure you have a 1998 build date Zed and not one that was just imported in '98?

Which spoiler do you have? Put up your VIN number and someone will be able to let you know for sure.

 

is this the speed sensor in the foot well or the one attached to the steering rack?

 

Part number is 25911-30P12. They did not change through out the Z32 model run. The reason you are seeing only up to '96 in your search is because Nissan dis-continued the Z32 in the American market at the end of '96.
