i found this on ebay... i would like any ones opinion! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-300zx...3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:1|39:1|240:1318
Never buy generic 'performance' tunes from ebay. all they do is richen the fuel and advance the timing to potentially unsafe levels. .... there it is very rare for these tunes to actually increase power. i've actually heard of people loosing power on these tunes due to them giving too much of a rich tune. Give this one a miss mate. If you want proper "safe" performance mods, get a pod and catback exhaust instead.
dont do it....its a trap dont buy random chips from ebay. alot of chips are a load of crap. your better off getting say a member like 90ttz to custom make you one. one that is custom tuned and made to suit your mods. EDIT: what benny said
Agree with all the comments. A member bought a chip off ebay about 12 months ago for around $50, we ripped the tune off it after he couldn't notice a difference. The only difference from stock was the removal of the speed limiter. I can write a safe tune for you if give me the current state of your car and what fuel you use. If you want to run E85 I'll write that for you as well, although you need to change your injectors and mod your harness a little before it's safe to use.
LMFAO... good work guys, yeah i've seen them a fair bit and never actually looked at them,. i had no intention of actually getting one just thought i would find out the general censis... ps, i got the pod and cat back! next job is too fix the last problem with my engine before i have nothing else to do and drop a tt in it!
There is a number of ready made chips on the market. You would need to get the details of exactly what have been changed before trusting it. I know some for example available for TT`s that can compensate for AIV delete, injector size, mild Redline increase, retain stock timing with increased fuel delivery (planned for higher boost), twin intake.. Basic things that is not a tune in itself, more like a patch until something better is sourced.
im looking at a new ecu/chip soon for my NA. may get in contact with 90ttz, but i think im going to take a trip up to melbourne perfomance centre up the road. saw a mclaren f1 in their driveway, so they must be ok haha. kindest regards. rod.
