    hey all,

got me engine sorted for the TT conversion and getting a 5spd box though SSS, now just trying to figure out all the costs and extras that im going to need that im sure i havnt thought of. selling off the N/A engine and box hopefully, so that should give me a bit of a financial boost.. though not much lol:p now i know that im going to have to do a bit of work to the front to mount a FMIC, accomodate piping etc. aswell as the new exhaust and new turbis etc. getting a Wolf3D V500 ECU and might get a brand spankin new TT harness through Perfect Run.

Just want to plan out the whole thing and try get as organized as i can before i dive in, and hoping the more tech happy of you out there, or indeed any1 has any suggestions for mods/ extras that i should chew through while the engine is out. body kit is getting replaced too, hopfully with gonzos new rear brazillian among a mix up of others, thinking i might have a look at the suspension while im at it too.

Anyway any1 that wants to make a suggestion/ recomendation or anything related to the rebuild please do, any help/feedback at all is definatly appreciated.

    thanks guys (and gals)

    Jadyn

Best of luck !!! Hope it all goes well.

btw I believe the piping for the climate control is different N/A to TT (US forum).

Anyway, hope it all goes well.

    Cheers,

    Peter

i suggest doing a plenum pull.. while plenum is off get bigger injectors obviously do spark plugs etc. and since the plenum is off might as well get it polished for some bling ;)

you wont need any extra space to fir the piping.. i did an NA to TT conversion... and yeah all fit sin snugly behind an NA bar. although i did chop the middle of it so the cooler can breathe

yer i was thinking about doing a step-by-step through the proccess with shiteloads of photos, for my own benifit as well as any1 else that wants to see:)

Yeah think we need a full mod list before we can help to much. I was considering doing what you're doing but thought buying a half cut would be easier, so thats what I did hehe. Engine is now getting preped/fixed before being installed. Shall be fun.

ill post up a full list tonight when i get home but from what i can remember:

    ACL Hyperlight forged pistons
Eagle forged conrods (both from caz)
looking at getting the crank balanced out seeing as its already shot-peened from the factory
not sure on the FMIC yet, want to look into that a bit more and work out the best for the final build
    Wolf3D V500 ECU
    HKS GT sports turbo kit
    koyo type-z radiator
all the cam gears/flywheel are going lightened and removing the clutch driven radiator fan to replace with a leccy one
getting the head flowed as well i think

plenty of other stuff, body kits, engine, paint, suspension, *bling* etc but cant remember all the japanese names lol

should give ya's an idea of whats happening, worst part is ill be driving an old VK/VL for the next few months *insert crying icon*

    cheers,
