put a rod through the side of my turbo block. talk about carnage! had an n/a motor so i put all my turbo bits on and kicked it in the guts. comp is still high at n/a specs so with a 19% decrease in comp space, i decreased the boost 20% to 11.5 and i goes hard as ever. so there! to all those who say it shouldn't be done, the only mod needed was to weld two pipes onto the sump for the turbo oil drains. total time - 1 day out. 1 arvo of mods. 1 day in.
Cool stuff, hope you continue to post... ...how things go. First time Ive heard of someone doing this!
Actually Luig, the earth is flat, check it out -> www.flat-earth.org A bunch of fundamentalist christians still believe the earth is flat, Its a television conspiracy to make you believe its round, its a good laugh
That would be the "pot calling the kettle black!" Chewy, of all people asking "how long do you think that will last?":LOL::LOL: Mind you his pocket rocket may not last the distance either! And on another point the pictures you saw of the first landing on the moon were fake too and that was a conspiracy! regards John
And all this time I thought it was round!!! bloody television.:angry: Thanks for the information though. Did you also know that the 'moon' doesn't even exist? Click Here
Turbo engine blocks have little oil squirties that spray oil underneath the pistons. I may be wrong as i never opened up and NA block but i thought they don't have these. And while we are on the TT topic. TT cams provide more lift or is it the other way arround, unless i do some reading i wont be for sure, but might be an something else to improve your power perhaps? Anyway, don't be shy let us know what's hapening as time goes by, weather it's good or bad, i know ill be interested and maybe Mark ( JEDI-77 ). Cheers sead
Chewy will know for sure but i thought it was actually NA cars that had squirters like this. In turbos, the pistons have oil galleries running through them. When people upgrade to fored pistons then often use the NA squirters to cool the new pistons.
